Description

This short course is intended for those that already have a Work at Heights competency and need to refresh/update (Re-Certification).

Purpose

Like many skills, there are often requirements to refresh or update your units of competency periodically either due to advancements, legislative or site requirements. This course will provide you with current and up to date knowledge via classroom presentation with verbal question and answers followed by practical exercises putting your knowledge to the test.

Entry Requirements

Must be able to provide evidence of Competency and currency.
Contact our office if you have any questions about what is acceptable evidence.

Competency in the unit to be refreshed - evidence of attending prior Nationally Recognised Training:
- Must be a Statement of Attainment or USI Transcript- 'NO PLASTIC WALLET CARDS'.
- May be an equivalent unit of competency.

Currency
- Resume or employer letter.
- Must state what type of activities you have been performing since your initial training.

Minimum 15 years of age, physically fit, ability to speak, read & write English
- To ensure a high level of safety during the course, participants may be subjected to random Drug & Alcohol testing.
- Your acceptance of this is confirmed upon registering as a participant of this course.

Assessment Requirements

Verbal Question and Answers followed by Practical exercises.

Materials or Equipment Required

- Learning materials are provided.
- Please wear enclosed footwear, bring a hard hat (if owned), weather suitable clothing.
- Tea & Coffee Provided.

USI

From 1st January 2015 each student that will be commencing nationally recognised training in Australia is required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI) to be able to obtain their certificate or qualification from their registered training organisation.
